Over the last 24 years Gill has worked with local government, housing, health, care and criminal justice systems across England to enable everyone to have a home and community in which to ‘start, live and age well’, to reduce health inequalities and inequity. Currently employed by Public Health England as Health & Homelessness Adviser, working closely with MHCLG, DHSC and NHSE/I, Gill has previously been PHE’s national adviser on homes and health, a NHSE Regional Housing Lead on the Transforming Care programme, and a freelance consultant working with local authorities and their partners to commission for better outcomes and improve lives.
